hey guys my PS3 keeps switching off when i boot it up, it takes 3-4 attempts everything to get to the log in screen so i'm in the lap of the gods as to how long b4 it packs up and dies outright. Suspect its gonna b YLOD from hard drive failure as i can hear the HDD starting to spin then stopping then nothing.Guess then i'll b out of commission for a while once it does but i'll keep u posted.

Sounds about right, that's what happened to me, try the dust cleaner feature by
turning it off at the back and whilst off hold eject and turn on at the back and keep hold of eject still, after it finished blowing then turn it off at the back again and then switch it on normally

sorry to hear that but most porn sites are not that safe jk the other day i hooked up my air compressor and took my ps3 outside and just blew it out i coulndnt believe how much dust was in there it was awesome so good luck |

thx 4 the tips boys im gonna do this in a while. And X why r u "sorry 2 hear that most p0rn sites r not that safe?" Medic, Fluff and Ether havent had any probs with their m/cs so r we to conclude that g4y p0rn sites have little/no risk? O_O

i seriously cannot believe how my ps3, which is japanese works here in the UK so well! been on almost everyday for the past year and a half and it works so sweet!!

me too Xtermntr, i used air compressor for clean my PS3, and dust cleaner for the Bleray box, i used a brush for clean the small parts, and it helps, cuz my ps3 was so slowly to load the main manu of UT3, now it works fine. ^^
i was think to format the HDD but i just cleaned and fiuuuuu. was fixed. ^^
a PERFECT CHOICE CLEANER hepls me for the Bluaray box and the PS3's skin.
 that product desintegrates the dust.

EVERY time i start my ps3 i here something blowing SUPER DUPEr hard and than it stops? Idk what it is. any ideas?
