Yes, yesterday mornig I get a new one. 250g-Slim. I hope this Models dont get this Ylod-Bull****. The old one I will send to TVS. Also Yesterday I was talking/waiting for like 20 minutes with a Telefon-Robot (Sony Costumer-Hotline) after this 20 min I get a real human person to the phone. I have protested and told him excited and angry my Request. I know hopeless but I calm my human Kill-Somebody-Instinct. :)) cause we talk about blown 350€ ... so far I´m relaxed again. :)) Thanks for the Help Danny & Co. Cheers... Coolworx

i have a old 60 gig that i got on release. no issues yet cause i give it a lot of space to breathe and keep the dust off of it. what you need to do is put a bigger harddrive in. it's really that simple. this is the one i put in my PS3 6 months ago. make sure it's that size if you want it to actually FIT in your PS3. then just follow the steps and boom. done. |

i didn't know the blu ray quality was worse on the slims, i got a old fat b**** myself, 40gb cant believe i haven't been hit iwth the ylod, when it does tho im gettin 250GB version, sick of runnin outta space all the time and deleting things

from what i've seen even the new PS3 Slims can get YLOD but have little chance of doing so has they genarate less Heat.
It's up to yourself on what PS3 you want the Cheaper But made with better components "Fat" PS3 with its sexy looks :P 80gb model or higher. Or the Slim with Extra Audio features, Cheaper Components & Genarates less Heat Your Probz best to go with the Slim tbh but if you like watching movies etc..... your best bet is the Fat as the Slims Blu Ray Drive is Poor (N) |

flip the switch on the back of your ps3 then put your finger on the eject button & hold it Now flip the switch on the back of your PS3 while your finger is still on the eject button it should let you get your UT3 Disc Back.
Save games are lost inless you still have warrenty & send it back to Sony. You can still use your Coolworx/Fu,K-Nrg on your new PS3 if you Remember the Email & Password for those accounts |

YLOD GOT ME!
Today I was playing UT3 and my PS3 crashed. Thats ULTRA G.A.Y! Tomorrow I have to buy a new one :(( Questions: Do I have to create a new ACC? Is there a chance to get my Savegames back? What about the UT3 Disc in my broken PS3? What about my Trophys? TIME 2 CRY :( Cheers Coolworx
