when i played often...i probably had most trouble with: phantaci, paw, rev, drokun, inc, remy, rico, kali.. i know not all of these people still play now though, there's probably more but i can't really think of them

Phantaci sniped me the most on the Deck in TDM, and Bumrush hit me a lot from the middle of the Facing Worlds bridge in CTF. I guess I need to snipe more...

the server dictates hitscan accuracy. ive missed people by 4 feet and it still registered a headshot. but ive also watched the tracer go right through someone 3 or 4 straight times and not register a single hit. its not exact science. people who have a great internet connection have a big advantage imo.

yeah i hear what your sayin, not tryin to argue just a matter of opinion really but i still have to stick with my hitscan point cuz thats all it is. but ur shots fired/ to landed ratio idea is very true, i agree 100%, but when it comes to close combat, sniper is just like shock, its not sniping then, its surviving.... and i've been in that situation like u've had with paw before too, i usually spam a rocket up to the top of the avril or something but i've been owned becuz of it hahaha, sucks

Seph I agree to o an extent but a good sniper should also possess an excellent accuracy (shots fired/shots scored) and to me b able to use it in a variety of different ways. Eg papa2dogg sniped me consistently in a game on suspense. I know he was static. He did the same in Sandstorm. The next time in Sandstorm I waited for him and when he took position and started I sniped him with a headshot. The n he did the same and I took the lift up and linked him even tho he placed spider mines on top. Then I used the fury. The guy has a good accuracy same for DaMan. But he does move around a bit however on large maps he takes position a la MW2 style.
A few days ago I crossed paths on the avril bridge in suspense with Paweezy. I was jumping down to the pad nearest my respawn and he was jumping up from it to the avril bridge ready to take boots im guessing. I realised and jumped onto the roof and turned planting my feet. At the same time he reappeared from the top of the avril bridge (above the pad) and sniped me - 1 shot, no scope, he knew where I landed instinctively. OK my health wasnt full but it was still impressive - less than 3 seconds in passing and wham! EDIT: I just saw Saltydog's comments - haha! guess this will cheer him.
