Borderlands

When i was fighting mothrakk yesterday, it took an hour and a half to nearly kill it only to get killed myself lol.   there must be a way to make the fight quicker surely.

if only that worked cath lol. i tried that but the mothrakk is always too high to reach and the cars weapons do little damage to it.

yeah sniping it could be a better approach if its got high damage of course lol.  I;ve been uing shotguns, smgs, combat rifles, rocket launchers an revolvers, all with limited success.  This fight is doing my bloody head in. .

teaming up makes the enemies tougher.  I'm at level 18 now so I guess I'll be coming up to that fight pretty soon, within the next 3-5 levels I'd expect.  Carlo what's the highest damage sniper you have?  Mine is pretty good for the level I'm at I think (I've been using it the past few level ups) but it only does 150 ish damage where as I have a rocket launcher that does 350.  If that's better than what you have I could lend it to you if you promise to give me it back afterwards ;)

hey im no pikey bev lol xD. the highest damage sniper rifle i have does 77 damage. dont think thats good enough somehow lol. yeah i wouldn't mind you lending it out to me, cheers. dont worry i'll give it back. :)

I think my sniper does 300 damage if i remember correctly, definately sounds like you need a better gun..

im level 22 right now, i've also just got a sniper rifle that does 215 damage, will that be good enough?

You can clone your weapon and gift it.  Just join in a party with someone, then drop the gun you want to gift.  Let the other player pick it up.  Now, you must turn off your ps3, but don't exit Borderlands, or it will save the game without your weapon.  If you just reset your ps3, your game will quit without saving, with you still having your gun, and the other person will also have it.

That's kinda cheating though

Finally beat the bloody thing in about 20 minute before .  I used a sniper rifle to kill the thing.  sniper rifles are the guns of the gods lol.

That's what I like to hear :D  I picked one up at 215 last night and leveled up enought to use my rifleman class mod too :p

oooh I've not got to that stage yet... I've just finished the "kill sledge" mission but that was p!ss easy so I'm not worried about any pesky patrol cars 

Ok so I made it to Dahl Headlands and have opened up New Haven but am finishing off some little missions before I move on.  Patrol cars...  no problem.  As soon as I get to the Mothrakk mission I'll let you know how easy I found it
