That whole ordeal is supposed to be explained by BBS.  However, I'm a bit more interested with Zexion basically being a little kid.  If it was confirmed that nobodies don't age, then how are they going to explain this..



BBS.. it has so much promise.. promise that Days couldn't deliver. (probably because of time restraints)  Think about it.. BBS is set 10 years before KH1 and 12 before KH2.  Days was in-between KH1 and KH2. (overlapping just a little of KH1's timeline, but still)  There was just too much restraints on what could happen.  Except the few cutscenes set in the past, BBS is totally separate from the rest of the series.  There's so much more room to explain and what not.

Oh, and BBS is going to have 13 or so worlds.  Winnie the Pooh was one of the last worlds announced thus far, but yeah, it's in there.

Oh, and today's the first day of Jump Festa 2010 and it appears that we've already got a new trailer and guess who shows up?  I'll give you a hint.  He was the only non-Original Apprentice/ Roxas whose name was revealed thus far. (in Days)  Anyways, he's apparently a child by the time of BBS, so I wonder when he became a nobody or maybe the whole "Nobodies don't age" thing not true.  Was Nomura just messing with us about that?

In case you haven't figured it out already, here's who it is and more.

Young Axel and Saïx are shown in their human forms talking to Ven. Axel says "because we're friends, got that memorized?" Both of their hair styles are similar to their Nobody selves, but shorter. Axel wears a scarf on his neck and an orange tank top. Saïx wears a short-sleeved blue training jumpsuit, with a crescent moon mark on his left chest. They both look to be around the same age as Ven. There are no scars or marks on their faces

I guess the hint that they were once friends from Days is truthful after all.  If you've played or seen the scenes from Days, you should know Axel's real name, but the one I hoping is mentioned is Saix's.  Oh, and who knows.. maybe there's more non-original members that will make cameos, like Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia, and/ or Larxene.  Damn..  I hope Axel and Saix's somebodies' cameo isn't the only slightly unexpected cameo. (I expected to see the original apprentices/ 5.)

Anyways, more news from Jump Festa and maybe even the actual trailer will be posted in this thread in the coming days.

Warning: Due to Jump Festa going on and many people anticipating the video, the site's pretty freakin' laggy at times.  There's like 430+ people right now and that's not counting the main page.  KHi's server is a lot better than iAM's, but even it can't handle that many people without some lag.  I think they're getting 20,000 or so people a day to. (Note: KHI used to have three separate smaller servers, but the owner wanted to save money, so he purchased a larger server and used it for all three parts of KHI (which includes the main page and whatever Inferno is).)

I go to KH Insider about every other day or so, sometimes once a day, so I'll catch tidbits of news every now and then.  I don't know if I said this anywhere, but the last set of scans had Kairi's Grandma/ Caretaker in them.

Sorry I never got around to posting this, but BBS has a commercial in Japan btw..  It'll be out over there Jan. 9th.

So, I've been spoiling myself on BBS the last day or two.  I got to say.. this game is a f***ing revolution! (or sure seems like one)  From what I've saw, the boss battles tend to be less about mashing X and more about strategy.  Most of the bosses don't have more than 3 HP bars, yet they still take about the same time.  From the looks of it, taking down each HP is battle.  At least one or two of the bosses WILL heal themselves and simple X mashing doesn't do an extreme amount of damage and in some cases, it leaves you open to attack.

.. in laymen terms, this game appears to be harder than even KH1 (Expert mode?), more strategic-based, has more awesome boss battles,  the feel just feels much better, and oh.. it made me rethink one thing about KH2..  The magic gauge wasn't that bad after all.  Combine it with bosses that can actually kick your ass faster than you can say "keyblade" and you might just have a much better experience, depending on how much you like or hate a good challenge.

I don't know.  This game could be easier than it looks, but aren't the Japanese stereotypically better gamers than us English/ Americans?  I've seen all the final bosses and they definitely don't appear easy and they aren't excessively long (part-wise) battles.  I don't know what you might think, but they all felt much more epic than pretty much any other KH boss to me.  I'm just hoping that Square doesn't dumb things down.  This game could very well be the best KH to date.

Btw.. this game got the Platinum thing (It had 37 out of 40.) from Famistu or whatever their name is, not that they're the most dependable game reviewers.

In non-BBS news, Coded's apparently not over yet.  Everyone thought it ended with episode 7 recently, which was pretty.. anti-climatic, but apparently.. there's one more.  Nomura mentioned in a recent interview and well, it's supposed to be big, so we'll see..

In more other game news, there's a rumor going around that BBS might be getting a sequel.. on the PS3.  Well, it might not be BBS's sequel, but it's another non-KH3 game.  There's some talk about it being set in the dark realm and.. well, I'd rather tell you via PMs since this might be classified as huge spoilers.

I wish I had a PSP and BBS wasn't the only the game worth getting one for.  I love the KH series and all, but even if this one is the best one to date, I don't think I'll be buying a PSP just for it.  I might get Days though, since I have relative who has a DS I might.. umm.. "borrow."  BBS looks better than Days though.  So, how's days going anyways?  I heard it's supposed to be tougher than KH2 to.. and takes a bit more thinking than doing (ex: hitting the X button).  Well, at least compared to KH2.

Anyways, watching the live streams a bit, I've seen several people get their asses handed to them.  You know how Aqua fights Maleficent (dragon). (for an example)  Well, she has about half as much HP (2/ 3 HP bars), but don't let that part fool you heheh..

Speaking of graphics, I'm surprised and flattered at how good BBS looks.  I mean, it isn't real high quality or anything, but the graphics appear very much like KH1 and KH2.  You'd think the space issues might occur, since there's 11 or 12 playable worlds, on top of the online (Mirage Arena) and a bunch of other things, but from the looks of it, they suffer too much.  I'm taking it that since they reused cutscenes (maybe shifted the viewpoints a little more), this might be part of the reason why they could do what they did.  That and since a UMD has a lot more space than a DS cart.  I can only imagine how much they'll do with a Blu-Ray or 360 Disk.  If this rumor is true, I think we might get a good insight into what KH3 is going to be like.

Actually, I'm going to be kind of glad if this rumor is true, as it could really help set up the stage for KH3 and not just story-wise, but how it's going to look and feel on the PS3.

I gatta say KH3 is going 2B of the hook that's one of the games i can't wait to play it I played KH1 & KH2 & i freaking enjoyed every minute of it they were really great i still play them at this point i don't think i'll ever sell them :)

Basically, the voice of MX is going to be Spock's actor.  I don't know who the others voice, but I'm betting that Luke Skywalker's going to voice Master Eraqus, though Terra is also likely.  Still, I'm banking that he's going to be the voice the older role of Jedi Keyblade Master this time.  I think it will fit him better than VAing for Terra.

Also, wasn't once said that Nomura's a Star Wars fan and parts of the series (like Xemnas' red "light-sabers") are loosely based on that fact?
