For me the beginning of the end when the day the European servers disappeared for few weeks and I never saw them come back. The US servers have always been laggy on my end.
And then, I lot of people left to play on COD or Battlefield. But you're right, Epic Games did nothing to keep this game alive. Probably because they were too busy with the Gears of War franchise. |

i totally agree... epic never put enough effort into ut3... a new UT on the next gen systems would be more in the gamers hands because of the ingame recording being built into the new systems, which would allow the gamers to have pod casts and broadcast matches on twitch which would draw interest to UT... epic could create the new UT game and then just piss off and let the gamers do the rest... only issue would be good enough servers... if epic cant manage some dedicated servers then they need to quit the gaming buisness all together

I almost forgot how to log into this site. But really Epic Games killed UT3, by treating it's fan base like crap and not releasing DLC's to keep the game fresh. Titan lol, garbage and late IMO, Flak is a beotch, worthless community MOD over there she single handedly killed competitiive match making.
If you guys were smart, and the jury is definately still out there, you would be creating a thread in support of a new Unreal on the Epic Forums, and we could all chime in on what we want to see, Flak be damned.
