Yeah, I think you're right in some ways. But there is definitely more to it then being hooked on games and the Internet. He was obviously picked on pretty bad not to mention he had asperger's syndrome which is a target for bullying and he definitely didn't do much besides play video games because he probably had no friends. Sounds like he wanted the world to know he exists and he is definitely warped and crazy. Like why did he target an elementrary school? Why not a highschool? Or A college? Or a mall? He targeted helpless children that he knew he wouldn't look stupid in front of and knew that he could do whatever. It's sick. These were 6 and 7 year olds who were excited about Santa and got shot at school. I literally felt sad when I heard about it. We are so used to hearing about murders on the news but this time was different.

We're discussing the most horrific shooting in US history. Not "what happens way worse to more than 20 children EVERY day." This example that you're using to justify your position regarding the Conn shooting is completely unrelated except for dead kids. You're also making the inference that Katarna could give two sh!ts regarding global tragedy (see same post) which you have no clue what this guy is all about unless you know him on a personal level.

I see someone who was disrespectful/rude regarding an extremely sensitive subject, then using flawed logic (the fallacy) to defend his position/take on things. If what is happening to children across the world is such an issue to you, go start a thread that addresses your concerns. Don't use it to downplay what just happened in Connecticut.

This is not something to joke about. I was on my break at work and was reading the news paper and after reading about it it put my entire shift on a downer. There's some sick people in the world.

The truth is, we have been indoctrinated to the point where if we don't see something on Fox or CNN we live as if it isn't happening.
I remember looking at photos of children massacred in Syria. (those pictures disturbed me) Last night someone was mauled to death by a tiger or killed trying to get across the Nile.
