Gears Of War 3 Review

If anyone missed out on the Hypefestation tournament, it was awesome! Here are the links to the championship match of the tournament! Infinity lost in round 2 and fought back and won the whole tournament, impressive. Gears 3 is all on dedicated servers, Ive played it online alot now and haven't had lag once, its like playing off line but online. its amazing

You start the game off with 2 guns that require very little aim (even the hammerburst), so yes it does revolve around skill-less weapons. I wouldn't go as far to say that the bow and sniper rifle are that hard to use, but yes they do take some skill. I realize the game is about movement and positioning, but then again so is basically every other FPS out there. I am allowed not to like something that you love colossus, don't take it personal, I just don't enjoy that style of game.

It's been awhile since I've been on this site and UT3 will always be my #1, but I literally can't stop playing this game. Took a whole week of vacation from work just to play it.   I'm a hardcore Gears fan and it's exceeded all my expectations.

This game blows monkey ass, campaign is extremely formulaic and the multiplayer is centered around skill-less weapons. 

Ok so I have Completed the game and played every single Multiplayer and Co-Op mode in the game and I would also give it a 9.5/10

The Campaign is amazing, its got a proper ending and wraps everything up leaving your mind at rest about the characters and the story and there is a good mix of emotion in the story, Some bits with Cole and Baird really made me laugh and some of the some with Dom nearly made me cry it was that well done and just truly EPIC no joke.

Multiplayer is not for the faint heated, if you do not know what you are doing on Gears then you need to play the campaign and go in the novice section of Multiplayer coz if you don't you will get stomped hard. Gears will rather make you buzz if you are good enough or it will make you rage hard, but you have to stick at it and get better. people are complaining about the Retro lancer and the sawed-off which I can understand but to be fare they are balanced weapons which is what matters.

Horde and Beast mode are loads and loads of fun

overall this game is worth buying a 360 for and I cant see how any fan of shooters and EPIC Games would not love this game.
