think this would have made a great final but Argentina will get at the Germans back line esp centre. Germany can trouble them too but Argentina have too much fire power imo. Final Argentina v Holland and the orange men will b victorious.

Saying you would have definitely won the game is a huge stretch. Sure, you did deserve that goal and it would have motivated the team, but that would not necessarily mean you would have won. Germany is just a better team than England is. They are incredibly methodical and can move the ball around better than any team in the tournament. You have every reason to be pissed about that goal but don't go making claims that it would have been a game winner.

i know what u mean.. im not saying if our defense was better and if the ref didnt f*** us we would have definatly won the game... but apart form our defense i think we played well enough to stand a good chance to beat em.. we did hit the crossbar twice afterall.. they could of easily went in... plus our goal and our disallowed one we should of got.. we could of bagged 4 goals in that game if we had some level of luck..

LMAO, bup there u go! And maybe u shoulda sought opportunities to get more McDonalds, Coca Cola and arms etc for Ghana. Anyway britain is still paying for ur last act of kindness so i'm glad history doesnt repeat itself. 
U were 2nd best against Ghana and i'm sorry to disagree with u Matt but we would have needed a large slice of luck to beat Germany but sometimes u make ur own luck. Lampard and James aside we were poor and deserved what we got...nothing! over paid, over rated and over and OUT.  Below par against USA, woeful against Algeria, half decent against Slovenia and 2nd best in all aspects against the first decent team we came up against. Cole for Milner = same, Heskey for Defoe = stupid (guy needs sat nav to find the goal area). 4-4-2 instead of 4-5-1??? Capello should b given the chance to redeem himself but if things dont improve then he should go imo.

cant believe that.. to be honest i think england played just as good as germany in the 1st half and throughout the 20 minutes of the 2nd half.. but when our goal was denied, our team (mainly the defense) pushed up too much and alowed them to score more goals... if we were allowed the goal whihc we should!!! have got... then i think we would have got more defensive to hold on to what we had and just make sure we buried our chances upfront.. we could of won that game against germany...
