Stella is disgusting... we call it "wife beater" over here in the UK.
Try Hoegaarden, Bitburger and Old Speckled Hen. And if you're having cider, kopperberg is fake flavoured fruit cider... you should try Jacques instead, oh and I recommend Perronelle's Blush, they lace it with blackberry lequeur and it has a lovely aftertaste ![]() |

i went to this nice bar recently and bought this beer called St. Theresa and it was really good. i'm guessing it's expensive though since i paid $5.75 for a 16 oz. gla**. i also had a good beer called Hebrew- Messiah Bold and i paid 11 bucks for a 6 pack (i believe it was 6% alcohol). i'm guessing they won't have these were you're from though.

Youre killing me Dan ... btw I thought Stella was from Belgium not English or are you originally a Flem? lol jk
Another very descent Micro Brew is Fat Tire ... you actually might be able to find this one, New Glarus is only distributed locally .... its absolutey the best beer in the universe though

Our local grocery has the Stella, Guiness, Grolsc, Becks, MGD, Sapporo, Amstel and Foster's. There's a higher end grocery on the other side of town that might have the others. Thanks!
I'll def have to get Stella. haha |

Stella, Carling and loads more... I'll try and update this later.
You have to try Stella, its from my homeland. In England we call it woman beater, because it makes you really angry when you drink it. I love it.

After Thanksgiving, I am planning on hosting a beer tasting with friends. What are some of your favorites? Thanks all for the help, Hán Fēi ![]() |
