Good day!
I was going to check out that website, but I received a strange call from an Obama Death Panel.  They a**ured me that all the care I needed to be properly euthanized would be provided, so now I feel much more comfortable.

What is so good about the day?!

What did the death panel send you? A ride to the hospital from Ted Kennedy?
I'd still rather go hunting with Cheney than get in a car with Ted Kennedy.

There, for those who were hating on Ted Kennedy for that incident.  Sure, it might of not been enough justice, but it's not like he didn't care about it anymore.  He felt guilty about it.

In it, Kennedy said his actions on Chappaquidd*** Island on July 18, 1969, were "inexcusable."

I don't exactly expect this to change your mind, but at least consider that he actually did feel guilty for his actions.

Cokk, I'm not deflecting or comparing the two.

You'll notice that the posts I put that up after said the media won't cover the drunk driving and death.  Absolutely false.  They also talked about the **** his nephew committed in the 90s.

Mary Jo hasn't gotten more coverage over the years than Tawanna Brawley.

I'm not politically biased either, though "I'm an Independent" seems like the equivalent of "I'm not racist - some of my best friends are black"

Like I wrote to UrLord later I just think everyone is wrong.
I should have known better. You do have a knack for pushing people's buttons. Wink
Tawanna Brawley! Holy cow, that was a mess.

Everyone, just because my political ideology falls to the right. That does not mean I watch or listen to Hannity, O'Reilly, Rush etc. I find Hannity to be contrived, O'Reilly to be a blowhard and Rush I lost respect for due to his punditry during Bush's 8 years. For cripes sake, O'Reilly used to be an ESPN anchor. I view him and Olbermann the same way. Political pundits who don't seem to be able to put there political ideals aside and just report on what happened.
I will admit that I listen to Michael Savage quite a bit. He seems like a crazy person but, he lays into both parties equally.
Also, before you repeat the talking points of your party, think about what you are repeating. Does anyone here really know how Clinton alledgedly left us with a budget surplus? Does anyone understand how HR3200 works? Don't believe everything you hear from anyone on cable news. You can go to www.factcheck.org to confirm most news that is printed or reported.
Lastly, if you are hoping for Obama to fail, you should be ashamed of yourself. I did not vote for him and do not agree with most of the decisions he makes. However, that does not mean I want him to fail. I'd rather be wrong and live in a successful, strong country where we all have jobs than be right.
Good day!

Sadly, half of you psuedo-thinkers wouldn't even know about Laura Bush killing someone if it hadn't been on Family Guy. -It was a funny episode.

Laura Bush ran a stopsign when she was 17 years old. Laura was sober and waited for the po-po to arrive. A manslaughter charge might have been in order.

Teddy was drunk. Teddy fled the scene. Teddy never called the cops. Teddy didn't even acknowledge the fact that he killed Mary Jo until the police found her body and contacted him. When Teddy called Mary Jo's parents, he only informed them of her death. They didn't find out that he was driving until they spoke to the police. Teddy was the beneficiary of a cover-up and should have done time and been removed from office.

How could you even compare the two? A 17 year old who at the time had no political affiliation being compared to a life long politician who was born with a silver spoon in his a** is apples and oranges. His behavior was not that of a man who did nothing wrong. Comparing the two serves only to reveal a political bias in your thinking.

For the record, I changed my party affiliation to Independent before the last election. I am fiscally conservative and socially libertarian. So, save the "you listen to Rush" or "you watch Fox news" horsesh1t. It's tired and pathetic.

This is the 1st time I have actually seen an American president trying to do something, being active and trying solve problems personally.

At least from what I hear and see of the news :D

I understand what your saying and I agree with you100%. All the pressure comes down to Obama because the economy was f*ck up before he was elected.

I for one, voted Obama because I listened what he had to say. He had plans he wanted to do to help the United States.

It seems like some people don't attention what candidates has to say. First of all, hear both candidates what they has to say because you criticise someone who's trying to make a difference while the other during the same routine as Bush did. From what I heard and saw in the election, Obama had a better vision and determined to do exactly what he said.

And for the record, FOX5 News are straight up Republicans. You won't hear anything good or great things about Democrats EVER!! Watch CNN if your a Democrat.
