Didn't you mean "the best of the best animes?" The only one I ever really watched was DBZ and the original DragonBall. DBGT was awful and I didn't watch it much past the second or so episode. I think that was also around the time I stopped watching anime, so I hardly ever saw Naruto and never watched Bleach once.

If we turn this into best of the best animated shows, I'd nominate the Simpsons. It may not be as funny as it used to be, but there's a reason why it's such a long running show.

boo family guy surpasses the simpsons by far... simpsons may have been on longer so has the backin as an original but i think family guys is better in most aspects

I like Family Guy, but I prefer the Simpsons more. However, either one absolutely destroys American Dad, which I consider as the unfunny/ ugly cousin (or sibling, depending on how you look at it) of Family Guy. Anyway we can change the poll and at least add some real shows to it. Anime's okay, every now and then, but I prefer real TV more. Even if it's just animated shows, I'm sure you could find a few other animate shows that absolutely destroy what's listed, in others' opinions.
